Communication problem with my //M3

Hi,guys i have a problem connecting my e46m3 to a GT1/DIS it keep on telling me that there is a connection error with the car.I have traced all the wires from the obd plug to dme,cluster,steering angle sensor,DSC and gearbox dme they are fine,there is 12v power and a12v ignition the earth's are also ok.PLEASE HELP

Have you tried inpa as an alternative system? What computer system you set up the Dis on?

Have you tried the GT1/DIS system on another car? Are you sure its maybe noy the OBD cable that you are using and not your car?

What year is your car? I know on my 2001 the DME needed a firmware update before it would work with an OBD2 bluetooth connector.

The problem is I did a diagnostic and the dis/gt1 did pick up the car just fine that was a couple of months ago.I used the machine on another car and it work fine,the DME i am using is from a 04 so I presume that it doesn't need a firmware upgrade.
