i am confused. is bilal's stock 135i beating tuned xcede x35is?

Sorry Josh. As your current mods stand the G4 (15ohm) is more than capable. You not missing out yet. :thumbs::=)

Nope , we didnt want to get involved in the politics hence no comments/excuses were made in the tlgp section.

As with any tune on a X35 . The tuned car will be faster than a stock one.

Street racing does not proves cars are strong or weak , theres way to many variables to consider.

if a car can beat my tuned 135i on the street, i would say its pretty strong. i know there a lot of variables but thats with anything in life. nice runs bilal for beating tuned cars with your stock :thumbs:

JB4 has worked very well for me. And is great with all the user intervention that comes with this package.

Quick list of Questions that i can with JB4 installed can say yes to all:
Several maps available while driving?
Data logging and direct support in fault finding or any issues on your car?
Can you select to open/close CAN exhaust flap, MAX cool running water pump and fan at max to get heat out which also automatically switches off after half throttle so not to take any power away?
Full meth intergration and fail safe built in to JB4?
E85/95 specific auto tune map?
Deleting error codes and faults while driving?
And almost 30 other options which will take me too long too mention?
Rennzport in SA and Terry Claifornia support?

Josh no offense or politics but thats like saying i have a stock 135i and i beat a Lambo on the streets in a tlgp. Yes one will be pretty chuffed for sure but lets be realistic when tryin to compare any car thats modded vs any car thats stock. The modded one will always yield higher HP numbers. With higher HP numbers lots of factors come into play that a stock car would not have to worry about.

Making statement like above sayin stock cars beatin tuned cars for me is not my cup of tea and defeats us trying to mod cars as stock cars are the way to go based on the assumptions and comments.

As i said this is just my opinion and no offense meant to anyone or any specific car.

Im in for the modding scene to learn , live , share

Car is pretty much stock! Just the bmw power upgrade which is pretty mild. Lol maybe I got lucky but had a few guud runs

Ok so 1stly well done top Bilal, your car is strong.

2ndly, power pack on N55 makes MUCH more power than on N54. Makes up to 80NM more and up to 30kw on wheels more. Basically is a factory chipped version with cooling mods. But it works much better than on N54.

3rdly, 1/4 mile racing is won & lost at the line. Leaving the line with momentum is the key. And hence DCT/Auto is king against a manual. If both cars are auto or DCT or manual then once can see the horsepower of the respective cars. The moment you put a DCT/auto against a manual, then it's not about horsepower anymore as the launch & gearshifts turn the tables. Even a DCT against an auto is a big difference. Every time you shift the DCT gets a run at the auto, and against the manual it's even worse.

YEah goes from 412nm to 480nm at KAR dyno. So with that torque increase looks like a big increase in boos in the mid.

Nice meeting you as well. I will be coming there next week with a fully modded DCT N55.

This is what difference the power kit makes on an N55 at KAR dyno. The performance exhaust adds a bit more. So stock is as the car leaves the factory. Adding BMW performance mods doesn' mean a car is stock.

Agreed but that is always going to be misunderstood by many.

bilal car is strong also for what it has, and the difference is that he can break down anywhere is the country and bmw on call will still fix his car without inspecting it.....lol joke gents

but i did see bilals car in action it is quick......and i also agree with sherwin a dct will get quick in very gear through its changes.....:ty:

No probs bud. I did the power kit wen I bought the car on delivery and than did the performance exhaust at 5000kms

I have contacted COBB in the USA. They can sell you the access port and software but they dont guarantee the power/ gains as in the US and europe. They say they concentrating on BMW cars in these regions for now as they still perfecting. The difference is in SA are fule is different/poorer and they have not mapped and tested under our conditions to provide unconditional satisfaction. You better off with local tuners frankly like Xcede.
