cleaning aircon buttons on E90?

Hi guys,

I dropped cool drink on the aircon buttons about a week ago. Now those buttons are stuck. Is there anyway I can clean them without removing them off? Is there a spray I could use?

Maybe try Dipping ear buds into some Cleen Green and clean the area.

I thought about that but theres no space between the buttons

I'd say you will have to remove them. Because it's a sugar based you won't be able to clean it with a spray. It will be like cleaning orange juice with cardboard, it won't clean up the mess, will just move it around. :rollsmile:

You could try a toothbrush, but you will never get them 100% clean without taking it apart... Its looks easy to get out, I wouldnt think it would be too hard to take it apart.

It wont. Its srong enough to clean but not strong enough to remove the print.

common problem at the dealership....just take the IHKA apart and clean the buttons,its pretty easy it just clips together:thumbs:
