Cleaned my airbox & found something interesting

Apart from finding the airfilter ( lol ) I found that the hoods stamped with M3 on it too.
Incidentally , no small birds or butterflies were found- the box was pretty clean

This does seem to be a trend with BMW and their ///M cars. On my E46 M3 there was those ///M stamps on the following items: Wheel liners, calipers and rear trailing arms. Not exactly ///M items but still cool :rollsmile:

You will also find them on many suspension parts like the sway bars, arm links, strut tower etc...

Maybe it helps when they are assembling the car. The M's are assembled on the same track as the regular production cars.
