Props to AMG! Masterpiece of engineering there, but I don't think it's yet convinced me.

A45 is something special...but the bmw has lots of room for improvement. Hopefully we will see it on the 1M's replacement...can't freaking wait

:fencelook: Remember, the M135i isn't an out-out M car... So comparing the A45 and RS3 to the M135i isn't right... These cars must be compared to the M2, 2M, whatever it's called, LOL :bravo:

agreed. just shows how good the M135i is that its included in that company. I dont think the RS3 is a better car though. I would take the BMW over the Audi, but not the AMG. The A45 AMG is just that extra bit special

Was a very nice review compared to several others with actual plusses and minuses for both cars. However the A45 is just a notch up from even the 1M in performance. This competition is a great thing, will get BMW to build better cars. Now that there is a new kid on the block.
Would love to do a comparison in SA with a stock M135i in October, so if there is someone in Jozi North that owns a stock M135i by then and will be keen for a run, it would be good, just for fun, nothing serious.

Err the A45 is R555k is SA and kills a Boxter in every performance and practical way imaginable. For R100 000 less. I don't understand why.

Aahh ok well then i see your point coz that new boxter is gorgeous, and its still a Porsche, but in SA, 100k more doesn't make sense if it isn't faster.

I've seen an A45 AMG in the flesh on the M1 North and all I can do is :drool:
