The quickest local A45 (P&P) I know of is in DBN and has run a time of 12.2. I also happen to have had a 2/3/4 pull with him while I was in DBN recently

Thats impressive bud :thumbs: These cars keep getting quicker i heard the BMW M2 will be pushing 280kw + on a n55 motor. Audi is working on the new TT and the TT Clubsport is said to push 308 kw on a 2.0l motor. And then there is the new Honda Type R which was spotted testing against a A45 at a track :fencelook:

I have a m235i, had a couple pulls with an m135i auto.
Off the line whoever gets the jump stays infront, but the 235i catchs with after 160. on a roll the 235i pulls a car or two(not to sure about the gap) right till 240km

In my stock 435i I had a couple of friendly runs with a mate in his 135i N55 DCT with JB4 (I think he was running ethanol fuel mix too). They weren't proper planned runs, but from what we gathered, on rolling run, and off the line the 435i was just in front all the way until 180 or so, and the 135i jumped me off the line as he was using launch control and I just put foot flat (hadn't travelled more than 10km so couldn't activate LC). Was very surprised. We're gonna test again sometime as I'm not one to draw conclusive evidence from a few friendly runs.

He raced me.. I was just running jb4 map 5.. the 435i definitely had more power and consistently walks away from me!

Your mate's DCT 135i with JB4 is severely broken for that result.

Well I dyno'd it at KAR and it made 229wkw and 539nm doesnt seem too bad on 95 . And I raced a cla 45 Amg rolling and I was half a car in front by 180km/h.

I have recently run an A45 AMG with my 135 N55 manual with BMW PPK 1.

Rolling from about 60 to over 220 km/h...

We ran neck and neck all the way to about 200 km/h and then the 135 starts to pull away...

Very, very cool guy, think he is on the forum.

Very quick :thumbs: that's at the cost, up here he will lose +/- 6% correct me if i am wrong so 12.2 = 12.9 sec ,at the reef that's quick :thumbs: and i think you said this car has a PNP so this car is not stock , i think in stock form it should run 12.6 at the coast. my 2 cents

From my science experiments with a non stock 1M my prediction would be:

1M=M235i > M135i if all variables were stock? :rollsmile:

All these chips and stocks. What are we having lunch at the JSE???

I dont know so much about the above prediction. That M235i is pretty potent and so is the M135i. What do you guys think if I said

1M<M135i in any guise...

i think a M135i or a M235i will be a handfull for a 1M i think after 3rd or 4th gear the 1M will star to edge the other baby M, never raced a stock 1M would like to give it ago :rollsmile: :thumbs:

@Sanesh this is a 135 coupe you talking about what power you got on her ? then it does't say much for the AMG45 especially you were 3 up :thumbs:the thing is only good from launch only
