Chip or remap on 320d?

Sorry if their is already posts on this as i saw....but the ones i saw is old..more in line of e46 and early e90 ones.

As i wanted to remap my car desember in mossel bay at a friends place...ive been googling a lot...come to a conclution the chip is plug and play and some give more perf than remap...

What would u guys suggest? And if u say chip..which one should i buy?

Your conclusion is wrong.

A remap is always better. Not nesecairily in terms of more power. But power delivery is superior.

If you're on motorplan then pnp is the best route. Otherwise remap. I wouldn't trust anyone in the garden route go map my car.

The problem is finding someone decent - makes all the difference.

I'm guessing he has an f30 since this has been discussed to death on e46 and e90. But the same applies to f30.
