Its the best in terms of a unprepared track. On my car I was only .2seconds slower at ODI vs a prepared Tarlton. It is also a great track for the naturally aspirated cars as the altitude is 400m lower than the rest of Gauteng so in theory the car only looses 12.5% vs the coast.

I have been speaking to the people of Rob Green Motorsport and there is a good chance we going to get their Supercharged M3 V8 there on the day.

Due to demand of a track day Chip Logic in conjunction with George Smooth has decided to arrange a private track day for all BMWFanatic members. The provisional date is the 31st of October and the venue will be ODI race track situated north of Pretoria. The cost of the track for the day is R8500-00. Each entry will be charged at R100. The balance of the shortfall will be covered by Chip Logic. i.e. If 30 cars arrive of the day Chip Logic will pay in the R4500 shortfall. George decided to arrange this with Herbie the track owner in order to give us total track freedom and no pressure from other competitors in a shared day event.
The morning will be all about 1km exit speeds and from around eleven quartermile runs will be held. Chip Logic will bring a mobile test unit and offer anyone who attends technical assistance and advice as a bonus. We think this will be a great day for the cars to show their muscle be they big or small. The KM runs will really benefit the V8 cars which due to their weight do not give a true reflection of their performance capabilities on the quartermile.
This is not a MSA sanctioned event.
Fire extinguishers are not compulsary but recommended.
Below is a list of confirmed entries. Funds will start being collected early in October. Non forum and other brand vehicles of interest will be allowed to run but always keeping their numbers within reason. Queries for those cars should go directly to George using his email: georgesmooth @ gmail . com if they are not forum members.
