This is true. When I was running my stock turbo times the rumors where either upgraded turbos or nos. My car parks hood open at Tarlton for anyone to inspect and I have been very open with my mods and have tried to save many N54 owners school fees with advice regardless of the tuning platform they where using.
Once I ran eleven with the upgraded puppies and made a whole .4 sec improvement nitrous was the number one rumour. I was planning to add it eventually but not this year so I must say the rumour's did make me fit the gas a bit sooner than I wanted as I normally strengthen components before modding so the gearbox was meant to be done prior to this but what must I say couldn't resist.
There are many questions surrounding my car in the racing faternity but end of the day as frankie says "I did it my way" stock interior and all.
Me being open online with every details gave some impression the idea it was to hide something but the benefit people got from it and the thank you's was well worth it.
