Change G Box oil and filter

I have been wanting to do this forever. However, I don't know who to take it to for that. That is one process that CANNOT be stuffed up done cheaply. I want somebody who knows their stuff.

Yeah honestly, the job is much easier on a lift.

Take it to any gearbox specialist.

They will do the work if I supply the parts?

Give me an idea of what is required, then I will ask my new technician, who is doing clutch changes and stuff, and I will ask him if it is within is scope of knowledge and ability.

See the video I posted, it can be done easily if you have and mechanical skill at all..

only reason it isn't easy for most people is the lack of a lift to work on.

I've read up on one or two DIY's regarding the gearbox oil change. Basically you need to be able to also tilt the car/gearbox at certain angles to get the oil out properly before putting new oil in...

Ideally, from what I've read you want to do a flush so they change the oil, you drive it for a bit and change it again to be sure you get all the old crap out...

I do not believe in flushing, as more than one person has told me that flushing may actually be more harmful than good, and that you get most of the old rubbish out without flushing compared to flushing.
