Hey ChefDJ.

i have the perfect solution for you:
http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e39-m5-e52-z8-discussion/149252-e39-m5-fx-r-projector-retrofit.html

i have stock of this FX-R 3" projectors and they will provide far better lighting than the OEM lighting.

if the guys in this link above can do it then i think it should be a piece of cake (for me anyways) :fencelook:

send me an email ([email protected]) if you are interested and we can discuss further.

Thanks bud. But again, you cannot open my headlights. If I could, I would have repaired the adjusters ages ago.

PM me, you do not have to open them, I replaced mine on the exact same lights.

I will talk you through the process (It is complete rubbish that you have to remove the lens, ever since that guy in the USA stuck his lights in an oven, everybody thinks this is the only way)

I couldn't believe how easy it was in the end, fiddly but definitely possible as I have done it.

@ Rick and Vsomai, let's discuss here for the benefit of the forum

You guys have got me seriously interested now.

You're saying there's a way to replace the entire projector without removing the front lense? Do we access from the rear or what?

And if so, will this enable me to replace the adjusters at the same time, also without removing the front lense? I know the adjusters sit right at the back and so if I can access them from the rear then I'll definitely do both mods (replace projectors and replace adjusters).

Not the projectors, just the adjusters, I go in through the removable plug where you set it for LHD or RHD

Please let me know how you did this :bravo:

There is a simple solution to this, some advice my uncle gave me when I was having headlight problems...

He said, "Kyle, just don't drive at night"
