im lucky that these values are just wild guesses. my insurance says that the book value of my car is R110k. where do these get the extra R60k from.

I gather as much, and it's also doesn't list a lot of older models (within the last 5 years) for certain makes. For instance, no listing for an E46 328i, but you can "fool" this system and specify a '99 model 330i (which as far as I know didn't exist)... LOL

I actually saw your original post about this white E90 330i - looked very nice and if I remember it had iDrive etc. Not a bad price for mileage/age!! If I had seen it when I was car hunting I would have been interested although my wife wasn't keen on me getting another WHITE car - says it's too boring. :thinking:
