Changin my diff today from 2.92 to 3.38

So have been reading DIYs for the past couple of months and have the diff in my possession for the same period.

Originaly I would have taken it in to someone to do, but I like getting involved in my car, so thought to rather do it myself even though its a bitch of a job.

Just waiting for zaust to cool down then I'm getting dirty.

Any advice from guys that have done this before?

diff is quite heavy to move around and get in place... I struggled 1st time quite a bit but now i got the technique down and its easy for me to do it alone

If i was closer i would pop by and give you a hand... follow this DIY its pretty well laid out

Nothing, its standing in the garage now, and according to the sticker its actually a 2.93

I have no idea what is wrong. Seems like its a dud, drove 1km waiting for engine to heat up and then just screeching tires.. this sucks, 4000 down the drain

Stuff happens. Will check to take it out today and inspect.

I have to say Philip from centow knows his job, he got the car on the truck without even moving the back wheels, amazing how he moves the whole truck and flatbed with the controls.

rather take the back off before you send it in... the fact it locked up like that does not bode well... if the gears look ok inside then it might be worth fixing if not look for another diff...
