CCFL or LED angel eyes???

for those deciding between LED and CCFL angel eye rings, here are some pics of the LED types. i am sure there are a lot of CCFL pics and knowledge out there.

my opinion is that LED are better because they are:
1. longer lasting
2. no added extra parts that can fail (ballasts)
3. do not reflect light off the shrouds and blur the AE's
4. can do the fade in and fade out thing with them
5. not fragile and easier to package and ship to you guys

the cons of LED are:
1. they are more expensive (starts from R780 and depends on size of ring and number of LED per ring)
2. they have a viewing angle of 120 degrees whereas the CCFL has a viewing angle of 360 degrees

LED is the way to go I have been running some for 2 years now they are rigged to turn on with the ignition so used every time the car is used and still going strong :rollsmile:
