Cats on a e36 3.2 m3 ?

Does a decat on these vehicles make a big difference?

where does that cat sit on this specific vehicle?

Is it right after the manifold - looks like small silencers.

i want some pics if any one has some. i dont know if mine have been removed already.

it is the first silencers after the gearbox. 2 boxes. I had 2 straight pipes fitted and it made a big difference

Would you guys just put on straight pipes or would you put in the bosal decatt boxes? In terms of sound and performance?

looking in2 buying a e36 4door,, how reliable is it and hows the performance, its a 236kw double vanos with 170km for 90k

Kish. It makes a HUGE difference. I took mine off a while ago and when I floored in 1st I said to myself... WOW!!! Have a look inside the cat. You'll see why.

I have seen a cut open cat, it looks like a honey comb inside. apperently the lifespan is about 100 000km then they start blocking.

will do mine soon and will give you okes feedback.

naushad, be careful when buying a m3, make sure that it has service history and do a diagnostic check on the engine electronics.

loads of problems can be encountered on these vehicles.

they also turn the kilos back on these cars, yes its possible.
