Carly for BMW coding

HI Guys,

I have a 2009 e93 335i and recently purchased Carly for BMW from android store. The app works great and i have been able to code quite a few options on the car with it. The one that i really need to get working is to close the retractable roof with the FOB. I can open it no problems but cant get it to close.

Does anyone know which option needs to be set to "active" to accomplish this.?

Im using a DCAN cable from Cableshack with the OTG adaptor.

I checked the Carly support site to see coding possibilities because I also want to get myself this setup... it seems they only have the opening as a function from the key. Sure there's a work-around for closing it though. Chat to Gert at OBDWorx maybe?

Ive also sent Carly Support an email with a request for assistance. I will let you know of they come up with a solution as well.

As far as I am aware on some models the close function can only be done by installing a module like Gaptech

I got the Carly to link to my elm but I got the lite version so it reads and stuff but doesn't let me process. Should I buy the pro version

I just recently got the carly adapter if I'd known it would've worked with the inpa cable would of just used the cable coz I got the cable for 550.. but at least the carly adapter was a gift.. just need to buy the full app now I really want folding mirrors lol

When you get it please hit me up and we can chat. I am keen to se what it can do. Mirror drop on reverse and f1 harsh brake lighting is what I am after. Folding mirrors I don't believe mine has motors in. Digital speed and shift light also would be pretty cool
