The article does not expose any vehicle in particular. And carbon doctor works on many non BMW cars as well. I don't see the risk for owners. It is going to require a lot of investigation by BMW to look into this...but the issue is it would be plain silly of them if they do.
Thanks for your guys points of view. I just feel 'some' dealerships go abit overboard and would consider voiding your Motorplan for angel eyes .
At the end of the day, this is preventative maintenance and will only help keep the car healthier for longer and perform much better
