Why does carb.respond so miuch better than fuel onjection when the vehicle is at a low speed and in a high gear. Try driving both types at about 60kph in 5th gear.

Are you comparing the Exact same car, with the same throttle body setup, or are you just sucking these stats out of an orifice? Also, what exactly do you mean by respond? There is no fundamental reason that one should (respond) better than the other. Fuel injection can be fine tuned to more variables than carb, meaning that, for one, you can get better fuel economy, while not compromising power.
