Howsit everyone

Searching for a new (New to me) car I have come across a lot of very good deals, or so it seems, but these good deals come at higher mileage. Now my question is what is considered high mileage for an e46 or e60.
The e60 in question is at 193 000kms. The front shocks need replacing. passenger seat sensor is stuffed (thinks there is someone sitting in it) the breaks are squelling, and the owner does not have a spare key. It has a FSH though and the body is neat. What could go wrong here? What sort of cost will I be looking at to sort out the mentioned? Keeping in mind ill do my own work as much as I can. he has but the gearbox through diagnostics and has been service every 50 000kms.

Any opinions and advice will be greatly appreciated

I dont think the above mentioned items aren't extremely costly to fix but I always think that there are other issues that you and the current owner are not aware of that will make or break the sale. Some parts will fall under general maintenance and you might have a few that break and if you are like me and do preventative maintenance then you will spend prior to it giving hassles.

Have had the VIN checked for any comments, its clean as far as BMW is concerned.

Thanks for the response. this was my idea as well. If the preventative has not been done then I will have failures at some point.
