Car Reviews - with performance mods

Hello everyone,

We are launching a new series on our YouTube channel where we will be featuring modified performance cars.

The aim of these video reviews of the cars will be to show you the mods, take you along for the drive and see my facial expression when planting these machines and of course give the owners some credit for their blood sweat and tears that went into the build.

We mostly just do "new car reviews", but this can get boring and we want to spice up our video content.

The first car will be shot in PTA in a couple of weeks is a 360kW BMW M135i - we are super excited to film this car and show you the video

We are also shooting a stock BMW E90 335i M-Sport Sedan this week in Kimberley - this will fall under our "used car reviews".

If you have a performance car (highly modified welcome) that you would like to share with the rest of the forum and SA - send me a PM and we can get the ball rolling.

You don't need to be on camera if you don't prefer to, but you do need to be comfortable in borrowing your car for the shoot for a couple of hours. We will do the shoot close to your house and I will personally drive your baby as if it's my own car and do so responsibly. I have driven modified cars my entire life and have also driven some super cars - so your car will be in good hands. :=):

You mean like 0 - 100kph test etc...? I can install an app on my phone to record this - I was planning on doing it with all the performance cars.

Eventually I envision us getting access to the racetrack to perform the various test - like 1/4mile, 0 - 100kph and then, of course, lap times. Then have some leader board.

If you'll be doing track laptimes, I'd be persuaded to let you guys shoot with my M3.

Perhaps a Stock vs Track mods episode to see if they really make a difference.

Might even let you use my Red Dragon cameras for the episode. :fencelook:

Sounds good. Your articles are well written and enjoyable too. Looking forward to seeing the vids. Always cool seeing local modified cars.

Putting the cars on a track would definitely be fun, but then I will have the owners drive their own cars to set lap times etc... - things can get complicated when it comes to insurance and they will also push the cars much harder than me.

Lots of us to think about - this is a great idea guys.
