No need to go to CPA.

Allow ample opportunity from the dealer, then work your way up management.

CPA is a last resort and frankly, from what I have heard isnt worth the bother in any case. :nonono:

Thanks guys for all the help and advice. I am just gonna give the dealership time to come back to me with a reasonable answer and if nothing happens....then take matters further.

Is this a BMW dealership? Is the car still on motorplan? I'm reading more and more horror stories! I'm glad I don't have to deal with the dealers anymore, but when I did have a car on motorplan a few years back, I got impecable service from Auto Atlantic...Not all dealers are the same, and the ones who ruin it for the rest should be made public to the dealer network.

Blending is a part of life, depending on the color.

Silvers, you blend, white sometimes,

But on a bumper ?

What color bud ?

It is not unusual to send in your car to a DS with say, half a tank and get it back almost empty. It happened to me too. The key and bumper story is totally unacceptable.

I must still sit down and post my experiences with my car and the dealership when it went in for a service a few weeks ago. But basically they stuffed up and at first I was a bit too accepting until a few days later I was left on the side of the road with a mechanical issue as a result of poor workmanship - I had to limp to another dealer that was closer to temporarily sort out the problem.

Got home and immediately jumped on the phone to speak to the dealer principle - explained my experiences and basically insisted on them rectifying the various issues to my satisfaction.

Basically it was a similar scenario of taking a car in for a routine service with a few minor things to have looked at, getting the car back with careless damage and then something that they had adjusted incorrectly forcing me to almost become stranded on the side of the N1.

The outcome: was provided with a courtesy car, and had the significant damaged items replaced, and the affected items due to the incorrect adjustment replaced - was not going to accept a, "no it will be fine" reassurance when it should not have happened in the first place. Bare in mind that these people specialise in working on these cars - it's not like taking your car to a backyard mechanic that is more used to working on scooters and lawnmowers!

Hope you get each and every issue resolved to YOUR satisfaction!

Hey Guys
Sorry for the late reply. Here the latest feedback.
My bud organised the car for me at a good price, so the margin on profit was very low for them. Now i am told that they never for see these problems and can't pay back or repair the damages. I told him, I never asked for any favors, just make sure the car was worth every cent. trusting friends and i got bitten really bad. So i am busy setting up a meeting with them to show them that if they never used their fat fingers in the first place, things would be alot better and should have said so from the word go, instead of going thru 3 weeks of taking the car from me doing jack sh*t and making matters worse.

I am waiting on the meeting request to be accepted and if I get no reply, next step is dealer principle.
I am absolutely distraught by this.
