Cape Town's mixed bag

I was actually looking forward to this year. Even the Annual Motorshow this past weekend was just meh.
There was loads of decent cars and events that was truly nice but it only took 5minutes to run into the Goon squad from Youtube making their "Hey fam" videos.
It also never took long for the retarded BMW drivers seen in some of the videos to start spinning as if anyone cared about their rides with all the stuff on show.
Upon entering the show the popos in blue stopped from what I could see only BMW drivers including me, asking me to "gedra jouself asb vandag"... Clearly being labeled as one of these idiots and the Tunnelrun cancelation just confirms it.
The BMW Squad guys was very chilled from what I could see though, not sure if they are from the CPT BMW Club? Nothing too fancy on display but they did have the new 1 Series Potato there, highlight of my day was when the wifey asked what a Kia is doing parked by the rest of the squad.

Yeah I agree. that was a conscious decision. We all have bad days at times but when I do, I have no desire to degrade anyone

All those videos and yet SA's number one auto youtuber is a moron (posted in another thread LOL). I wonder what size their audiences are with so many people doing this. If I was them I would give up right now
The most I've gotten on YT actually making a vid was a measly 24000 views (and that is with Karcher briefly using it as a demo vid) and maybe 10K on some insta reels. (Gave me newfound respect for what Crash and real /storytellers have to go through.) I could be totally wrong and they have massive bases of cheese boy shitheads though 😂
I wonder what the stats and things were like on their vids that they keep on keeping on? Or is it just the thing to do in case something strikes gold or accidentally goes viral 🤷♂️

Trash often identifies itself. Unfortunately it doesn’t always take itself out. My tolerance for these characters or giving people benefit of the doubt has drastically declined over the years. Amazingly this bell end still has arrogance dripping even within his apology 😂 I am not sure social media users are to blame for his reputation being damaged 😂

The car scene when it comes to YouTubers is hit or miss, there's no in-between. I'm guessing they're all just hoping they blow up like Jamie from OG or Matt. The failure on our poor YouTubers though is not one of them has a niche, they're all over the place.
The only local guys I watch is Lorenzo and Snap Shift Media.

I agree... degradation of one's being, racial slurs, hate speech ... all come out with anger. I see this with the Diwali rants on social media...yoh. The real fireworks are the angry, lose jaws...
But also some okes are not just angry, filled with hate and waiting for any opportune moment to let rip forgetting the consequences behind it.
