I'm gonna just watch as well.

BMW wont let me drag race. Unless I tape up the body number on all the windows and take off the carbon pieces, and tinted taillights so that it isnt easy to identify the car so easily.:bawling:

I've got a set of 17" wheels from a E92 325i. So the wheels are sorted. Gonna use them at the next track day (26 Sept)

What do you mean BMW won't let you drag race?

Cos of the Motorplan. In case mechanical things break like drive shafts. We allowed to do anything except drag racing, donuts and burnouts. We can do track days.
What pisses me off tho is that they sell the Performance steering wheel which has the timing for 400m, lap time, G force etc. Which means we allowed to do it, but motorplan doesn't cover anything that breaks.

Would you rather they did not sell the performance steering wheel?:nono: Very good reason why motorplan doesn't cover drag racing. BMWs are notoriousy breakable under that type of driving.

Interesting... How do they monitor things like this?

If I do manage to get the de-CAT done before then, I will definitely go! Otherwise I just need to fix up the bottom engine cover for the high speed top out.
