Don't think I can make. I'm still struggling to find the cause of the very bad vibration my car has every time I go near 70km. This is the same issue I've been having since the propshaft coupling and center bearing was replaced in November last year. All the mechies I've been to insisted that it was the CV's. So after not being able to gather any more info or ideas of what it might be, I had the CV's done yesterday. Doesn't seem to have changed things though. I still need to take the car for a good test drive to test it properly to see if it made any difference, although it doesn't seem so. I'm trying to avoid long distances as the vibration seems worse after each trip. I guess it's back to the drawing board...

Sorry guys :(

You know I live in Somerset West, right? Or did you mean someone else :mmm:

Currently I'm having a relay installed as some of the old wiring is causing some k@k.

It still baffles me how this car could have run 100% for more than a year and then suddenly everything is giving in. I guess it was a sleeping melon...

Sorry guys :(

Have you tried balancing your wheels, mine did same, but cost me 2 x balancers as the first guys machine was out even though it said good, found a guy in Southfield with a very new type machine and recently recalibrated. Wow, the difference is unbelieveable!

I've had everything that could possible cause the vibration checked out. I'm now going to take the car to a propshaft center so old man there can take the prop shaft apart to see if the other mechies messed up. I'm alos having the porp's center bush replaced as the other mechs didn't do. If that fails... then I guess I can have the wheels checked AGAIN somewhere else. But for now I wait... :(
