Cape Town Mechanic for M54B30

Hi All,

Who is a trusted mechanic in the western cape that can have a look at my father in law’s E46 330i. I think he blew the head gasket on Friday and I am in Johannesburg.

Over here I have trusted BMW Mechanic but I don’t know anyone in the western cape.

Toying with fixing his motor or dropping in another used motor.

Regrettably im full time Back at office otherwise i would have checked it out for you.

I will give him a Heads up before you make contact with him.

He helped another oke Few weeks ago that had Overheating issues on his E46 M54 too.
Narrowed it down to the Heater Control Valve. Installed Good Second hand 1 and The car was fine.
So if there is no Sign of Coolant/Oil mixing, Then i would recommend him to have it checked out for you
