Cape Town BMW Run 31 August 2014

Good day gents & ladies.

we are planning a BMW Tunnel Run for the 31 August 2014 from Cape Town CBD travelling along the N1 highway, 1st stop at Engen 1stop to catch with guys from Stellies and the north etc, and then through the Huguenot Tunnel.

We will then pull off at Du Kloof Lodge www.duklooflodge.co.za

It is open to all BMW clubs and individuals.

What do you guys think and will be awesome if u guys join in.

The club was gonna have their own run on the same date. We've postponed it and will attend this run.

What time must we be at the Engen-1-Stop? The club is gonna meet up at Auto Atlantic first, then the Engen.

thanks guys,

we are still finalising smaller details,

so far, the times are:

Grant and the BMWCarClubCT guys will be meeting at Auto Atlantic at 9am.

The meeting time at Engen 1-stop N1 is 10am.

and we will then leave from Engen at 10:30AM to drive to DuKloof first passing through Huguenot Tunnel.

I will update with more details

Distance from CBD to DuKloof is appr 90km.

Ah Bliksem!!

This sounds like it´s going to be an awesome run!!...and I wont be able to attend...again. Away at work unfortunately.

From Cape Town CBD travelling along the N1 highway through the Huguenot Tunnel and back to Cape Town CBD.

The meeting point is at Engen 1-stop on the N1 highway at 10am.



Grant and the BMWCarClubCT guys will be meeting at Auto Atlantic, Cape Town CBD at 9am, to leave at 9:30am



The meeting time at Engen 1-stop N1 for those that want to meet there instead, will be 10am. Grant and his crew will then meet the rest of the BMW drivers at Engen 1-stop.



At 10:30am we will all leave the Engen N1 1-stop and proceed to the Huguenot Tunnel.



We will again re-group after the Huguenot Tunnel at Du Kloof Lodge http://www.duklooflodge.co.za



Those that would like to enter the Lodge are welcome to do so.



The drive back will be done via the (old tunnel) Old DuToitsKloof pass into Cape Town


It is open to all BMW clubs and individuals.


Distance from CBD to DuKloof is appr 90km.

All-round trip from Cape Town CBD approx 200km.
