Cape Town 335i owners to view car for me Please.../

Hi all.
I have a possible purchase coming up, finance approved, just waiting on signing.
the Car is 2009 E92 335i.
however it sits in Cape Town, and i am in JHB.
https://www.gumtree.co.za/a-cars-bakkies/other/2009-bmw-335i-coupe-a-t-e92/1002003541950910981170309

My question, is if anyone may be able to assist in going to have a look at the car for me, maybe take it for a drive, and check on the car if all is ok, no issues etc.

Its a tall order, and late notice i apologise, but this would be a huge help.

The car is in GoodWood, and if anyone is willing, they can arrange the seller and whomever is going to see the car, to meet.
If anyone is willing to assist, please can i ask you to contact me.

Best regards
Justin

Nice low mileage, but my Opinion, get a Msport. You will regret it later on.
Can i ask why?
ive already checked with BMW, and the VIN on this shows M Sport suspension.
but the M Sport pack was not opted for.
is there any other advantages of an M Sport?

the reason im looking at this, as due to the options ive been looking for in an E92 (Satnav with 7 Button controller, Paddleshift, etc)

does the M Sport have other advantages?

I got a non msport and I do regret not getting an msport but I think I regret not getting a dct more my car looks exactly like this mine is an 08 model.

I suggest get the 09 with the updated idrive etc and get dct if u can. If I hadn't had mine i would be all over this.

I also had the Msport suspension option, its terrible, ride improved ten folds when I fitted coilovers.

The Msport pack has different bumpers, sideskirts, sidesills, steering wheel, gearknob etc. It does not seem like much, but upgrading the parts later on is a costly affair.

As for the better Idrive and DCT etc, Mine is manual and I was looking for a manual, as for my Idrive, I hardly ever use the full potential of it. Just make sure it has USB for music playback, that is a huge bonus.

Thanks for the feedback.
Any reason why you opted Manual over DCT/Auto? fun factor i assume?

Fun Factor yes, and the cost of replacing clutch if it does need to happen out of motorplan, which my car is.

My Man. I wanted a DCT in white or silver but at the time nothing matched my budget...Ended up going for option 2 which was 6mt any color and ended up with a relatively low mileage black one with FSH, it had the needed done like HPFP and waterpump replacements...i love the car but not so much the color and really am still bothered by the "what if i went DCT' thoughts. And then the one posted here for R235k came up a month after i bought:cry:
point being, dont rush, buy once and be entirely happy with your purchase:coolShake:

The one in the link is sweet though

Hi Guys,

thank you to everyone for the posts, i just got word from the dealer (Consignment seller) that the car was sold this morning privately by the owner. even after i had approved finance and everything, so yet again im on the hunt for a 335i.
ive PM'd Shak for his 335i, though i very much doubt he will drop his price to my budget, worth an ask though.

thanks again everyone :)

Check this one out

+1....

It's in your budget compared to the list price of the one you wanted

And it's an M-sport:rollsmile:

I honestly, for the life of me, can not understand how 335's keep their value when selling through dealers. Mine is a 2006 with 150 000km in quite good condition with zuma loads of extra mods and they offer me 105k trade :roflol:

And then they will put it on the floor for 170-185k

https://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/showthread.php?tid=80000

I saw this, however his price drop has gone to R235k, im financing, and my budget is R200 000, as i want to add Warranty also. then not to mention the Admin Fees for the finance house.

Its a beautiful car, no doubt.

So... this car is provisionally sold... TO ME!!!!!

banks have approved everything, and at an immense interest rate of 12% :D needless to say im happy.

Clearance department will be in contact with the Seller (Shak), then all thats needed is for me to get a ticket to Durban, and drive the Beauty back to Jozi :D
