I commented on that thread.

Sutcliffe raves about the ///M5 in his one on one review (http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=589737), and then directly contradicts himself on some of those points and fails to mention most of that in his article in the mag. I think autocar did it to shock people into buying the magazine. They even put the result on the cover? What mag blurts a verdict like that if not to incite "Can it really be true?" like you asked?
