Hi, I was adjusting the handbrakes on the car and found these, one is a square plug, cant see what it fits into and the other is like a round pin type thing,

Last one looks like a fakra connector. Do you have BT? If not then I would hazard that is what that is. What model?

That round connector looks like it could be intended for an antenna of some sort. Bluetooth things have antennas, but they are usually small enough to go inside the box-of-tricks and this is just a wild guess.

As a last resort, you can ask at a BMW dealership. If you are lucky, you might even run into the guy who wanted to sell me a new dipstick when the oil level sensor was in fact faulty. True story, one can't up make stuff like that. :roflol:

This picture came up in another thread. That connector sure looks familiar. No idea why it is there under the handbrake, though.

If it's an E46, then it's definitely for the BT antenna. This is mounted behind the handbrake under the armrest or centre console. The other plug is then for the BT centre console which has the pairing button. This replaces the cup holders or sliding lid cubby normally there.

Hi, gert confirmed its the bluetooth kit, the pre facelift e90 come wired with all the connections etc, he even showed me some wires in the boot, nice to know, too bad I wont be using it, seems like some people but it off a pre facelift and install it on the facelift.

That's rather reckless and irresponsible. Rather don't use it then. Is that call or sms more important than your or someone else's life? I saw a woman and two kids killed right next to me due to said retards. Truck driver jut flattened them. Reckoned he didn't see them, was busy talking on his phone. It could so easily have been me..........
