Can anyone help.. Ive got m2 comp(s55 engine).
If I drive the car normally I have no issues, and then when I put my foot down, the car revs to around 3500-4000rpm or as the car gets on full boost.. The fuel pumps shut down and I loose power completely. I’ve got this error code (110001) and I only get this error code no misfires, no detention, I’ve changed the LPFP hpfp’s o2 sensors, EKP, fuel rail sensor, low pressure sensor and sent the dme to get tested and the car is still doing the same thing.. any help will be appreciated and we thinking of changing the vacuum pump

mods that were on the car was intake, downpipe, bm3 OTS 91 stage 2 tune, and everything was fine and then one day i switched the car off and on again this issue occured, the car is completely stock now. and even bmw mechanics don't know what else it could

I take it you have checked coils, injectors and plugs during this exercise to rule them out? If not, even if it is not throwing a misfire code, injectors might leak and trigger strange behaviour or other codes... I can't remember what the code was but on my M5 (it didn't trigger a random misfire either), but I had mine replaced on one bank and cleaned on the other. They pull them out and leave them on tissue paper overnight then see if they drip as one of the tests

Also make sure the plugs are gapped properly whilst you're at it - though that would trigger a random misfire code or deactivate the injector on a specific cylinder.

As per Llews comments check the plugs and injectors for leaks.

Haven't used it on a petrol BMW before but have done a injector test through ISTA D on a diesel to confirm which injector was faulty.

Have you had a look at the actual fuel pump? maybe the line is kinked or the pump isnt seated correctly etc etc

i haven't specifically checked coils or injectors, but i did change the plugs and that didn't help, with the injectors i did run a test through inst+ and i didnt have any issues

As i said i changed the plugs, but i think maybe i need to check the injectors, but i did run a test for the injectors through ista+

we've changed the LPFP and the HPFP's and i think they checked the lines, but doesn't make sense how one day the lines are perfect and the next day the lines would have a kink in them
