It's a bit hard to judge with photos but the bootlid does look a little off, needs to be aligned to the right. Then again could also be the angle of the picture.

Sorry for the bad pics.

The temporary licence in the back window says the car was registered yesterday.

Car isnt skew, but none of the panel gaps (especially at the back) are right.

Also has a new tire LHS rear, and the same wheel sits deep in, unlike the other side.

Car also leans slightly to the left. To me it looks like it was bumped hard and then fixed and sold.

The car is standing outside our building, but i cant locate the owner :fencelook:

Don't know if it's the photo or a problem but it looks like the gap underneath the driver door differs allot from the back door? Or is it just me...?

Looks like the right side of the bootlid has larger gaps than the left side.

I think that might be because of the angle the light is falling on the boot. More shadow on the right side...will have to check it out in person

Yeah, a bit difficult to say, but from what you describe you saw, it was probably rear ended.

definitely rear ended. that bootlid is skew, the tail-lights dont line up

I wanted to get your opinions before talking to the owner cos the car looks very nice from far, but only when you up close do you notice the irregularities.

I figured that if this car was bought in the last couple of days by someone who didn't realize it was bumped, then they should at least be informed about it.

Anyways, i couldn't track down the owner..

Bottom edge of drivers door looks a bit down , bootlid or right hand lens not aligned properly .

better pics in even light may indicate problem areas .

From the looks of it, the boot lid and bumper is out of alignment.

I also see an inconsistancy on the RF and RR door, particularly in terms of the offsets of the two doors, and perhaps, the lines on the RR fender to the door looks out as well.

Your welcome to bring the car past and I can check for any paint defects..

Was just seeing if i could alert someone to the fact that the car they just bought was probably bumped before.

Couldn't find the owner though.

Found the owner this morning, showed him where the panel gaps are different.

He didn't seem too impressed with me pointing out that his new car was possibly bumped before..

His exact response: "Ag well i already bought it so ya..." :fencelook:
