Can a Low battery cause errors

Hi there
I purchased a Z4M coupe recently
The car was standing for along time
Its an 09 and it has about 16K on the clock
Anyhow the battery is a bit weak
If the car stands for about 2 days without a start, when i start it it the brake warning light comes up as well as DSC light
After driving for a while, if i start again all lights go away

Sent the car in for MP transfer today
Hope its not a problem

Might be the battery. If the E46's start with a weak battery than there are some strange errors that go on on the dash but they go off after a while. If you don't drive the car at least once a weak I would suggest that you get a deep cycle battery for the car.

Yes it can and also loose battery terminal as well.

what Smartie said, happens to the ST's as well..

1 loose terminal or weak battery and eror codes gallor...

You can remove each battery cable and clean the terminal on the battery cable and the battery post . Refit and tighten them and see what happens .
