Hi Guys
Tell me can a E46 M3 still be financed?
I think Wesbank regards them as collectors cars so they will look at the deal?
I see the average price for a E46 is ranging from R160 - 350k with a lot of rubbish in between...
I mean I have seen 2 that have been completely resprayed (badly) and questionable ODO readings yet they ask R200k?
I offered a dealer R120k as I calculated R100k to get it perfect - total respray, car left half its ponies on the side of the road and rubbers, seals and a service with brakes and bearing redo... from a glance... who knows what else needs to be looked at when you get started...
Too many dodgy dealers out there trying to pull the wool over your eyes...
Am I 7 years too late for a E46 M3? Should I be looking at a E90 M3 instead?
I have owned many cars - the E46 SMG M3 was by far the best car I have owned.... I really regret selling it...
I sold it for R209k with 99k on the clock - never did a service out of motorplan and it was properly abused... whoever bought my M3 got a perfect car...
And I struggled to get that price!
Now R200k buys you a car that is nowhere near what you had before....
To get what I had it seems you have to pay R300k...
