Hi Guys,

I have had 10 Beamers including a 530d M/Sport however going for a 2008 X5 3.0D I know nothing about these babies, the one I am interested in is a one owner with 145000km on board, full service history with agents up to date and in really excellent condition.

He has brought he's price down from R269,000 to R250,000 as I have been watching he's AD so I think the price is excellent for a start???

If I go and view the vehicle what should I be looking for and what should I be looking for in the BMW M/Plan history as well? :fencelook:

Where are our X5 experts :praise:

Thanks Guys.

Don't even think twice, I have had the exact same car for 3 years now, bought it at 138,000 now on 180,000. Fantastic car. I had the DPF removed and the software remapped, fuel consumption down to Natal coast 7.2 l/100 Kim's. Average, daily driving, 10.2 l/100 kms

The price is not bad, but it isn't that great. Personally I would rather stretch for a 2011 LCI (well, I actually did ). Massive difference in engines and gearbox from pre to post LCI.

With that millage you should be able to pickup a 2011 LCI for less than R300k.
