Had the EXACT same experience with a E39 sportpack that I once looked at. Last minute I found out confronted the salesman. The dealer just played dumb...

phoned the dealer today , Dealer Principle is not available
turns out the salesman has been fired

cant say i feel good about that :thinker:

maybe they passing the buck to him , or he didnt do his job
