You not describing major modifications here so why not just keep your plan and TRY run software or JB4. iF REMOVED/UNPLUGGED the guys are not having problems from what Ive heard. The majority of gains come from software anyway?

The rest of the stuff will prob get you another 20wkw. With software alone you can get up to 250wkw. Last graph I saw on here they posted 247wkw at Exede.

Just an option cause then you can keep your plan if you clever about it.

If you buying a car to mod and enjoy then your maintenance bill will be high...that's the price you pay.

Rather spend your money on a performance car that has what you looking for and comes with warranty and MP...you will have fun and be covered.

If your looking for an E92 335 ,especially one out of motorplan atleast make sure it had the injector and hpfp replaced.

I would think its worth the premium to buy a car with even some motorplan left just for some peace of mind, afterall there arent many x35's on the road that arent modded..... just my 2cents....

Jeez for 390k you have alot of options...!

Espescialy if you looking for something out of plan...

Once you start going with more than software repair bills will start to add up espescially on a Turbo car.If you happy with that then go for it.

For that price range you may want to consider a V8 normally aspirated car. NA mods dont get you big power but the car will be very reliable and the sound will be epic. And you can rev higher..:).

Can I tell you what I would do with 390k tho just cause Im dreaming here...

I would buy a low mileage S2000 for 250k. I would take it straight to Rob Green and get it supercharged for 100k. Then I would enjoy ripping everything on the street including modded 35IX's.The S2000 is light and vtec plus boost gives you one of the funnest drives you can get on the planet. Also their SC option comes with a guarantee. You can do same with RS4. Can pick one up for R280K.

And with the leftover cash I'd go on holiday. :thumbs

you guys have really helped me. very good points have been made. thinking of getting something with motor plan or something where i can extend motorplan even if i pay a bit more, i mean all this mods would cost me over 40k anyway. so far thinking:

09-10 e92 m3 manual v8 (Had a dct before)
09-10 slk 55 amg ( nearly bought 1 before, always liked and hate the new shape)
2010-2011 335i manual or 335i vert manual ( had 335i e92 auto before)

You can't go wrong with an M6... It's an all rounder and very fast.

But listening to turbo's all day makes the drive a lot more fun..
