435i for the win! It's substantially cheaper! You could quiet easily extend the mplan if required. Besides having a better engine, the 4 series is superior in terms of aesthetics & drive imo. Keep in mind that the 4 series would be pre lci so u may have a chance on further negotiating the price lower. Jut my 2c, I'm sure whatever u decide u will not be disappointed. Salesman is set on the price says they won't drop lower I tried getting him to 550k. How could I persuade him to come down? Is this vehicle priced correctly for what it is?

435i looks no different than a 420i, so might as well chuck that comparison out the window.

The 4-series is better looking than the 3-series (as was intended by BMW), but apart from the looks I would definitely go for the 340i. Apart from the superb motor in the 340i, the LCI F30 also includes some nice changes from the previous models which make it feel better inside the cabin.

435i is not a coupe, its a hatchback. its a nice car and all but in this case its being compared to a facelifted car with a much better engine and a very good spec in case of the one on the tree

The 3-series doesn't have a Gran Coupe - only a GT.

I tend to agree that the 4-series Gran Coupe isn't the most beautiful car - a coupe with a roofline similar to a sedan defeats the purpose of a coupe. To me at least.

sorry if I'm a bit opinionated about this but my bro in laws dad has a 3 series m & he has a 4 series m and looking at the two cars...if money was no problem i would never ever buy a 3 series...car looks soooo much nice (too me) just the pillar less doors alone! the front end..rear lights...its fantastic..roof is a big low at the back if you're a tall person but who cares & that boot for a family is fantastic...but yes its all my opinion

So after reading all the comments and checking cars for the pass two weeks I've decided to go with the 340i , I still prefer the look of the 4series over the 3series although I'll rather settle for better performance over look any day. The vehicle that I'm buying is Estoril Blue 340i m-sport 2016. Please see photo for current mileage.

Nope, option SA6WB is a R7000 option on the 3 and 4, even the 340i. R5000 on the 440i.
Not available at all on the M3/M4 :blueCry:
