So the first car went to the bottom dyno. That was Sherwin's car. The second car, done at the first dyno, overreads but is adjusted to cater for altitude. That means that Jezebel will be stronger in Cape Town, except if measured on the top dyno. Am I right so far? :joy:

No none of the cars went to the bottom dyno. They all dyno'd on the top dyno which reads a bit high. I think it's probably in line with what a Cape Town flywheel dyno would read.

Extreme, can't remember who's car it was, might have been K's. So long ago.

Hi, I am not Zico.

The torque figures vary from car to car relative to the boost the car runs. Most cars running 1 bar will make in the 500-550 range relative to the tune and bolt ons. The power at the top of the range is where the tuning magic happens as its hard to hold boost there hence the differences from car to car and state of tune.

It sounds like the sw only car has the bmw performance pack, and runs a 1.4bar boost custom map?
Is that kind of boost possible with our shit fuel and no hardware???
The car runs great and makes the power so what do you guys think?

Both cars is running strong, One Question though why ambient correction of 22% or 25% + normally aspirated

Its possible. I have seen logs of guys running 18 - 19 psi boost on the Jb4 with no hardware other than DCI...in GP. They run 3 or more cars ahead of fully bolt on plus meth cars...sure they add some racefuel but they wont tell you about it...By tweaking map 6 settings...its very irresponsible but it can be done. Guys want the glory and car goes Kaboom the next day and they just buy another...thats the world of instant gratification.

Twins one question . Seen this as i dont know much about Dyno and its Figures

Why is is classified as Normally aspirated when the car has a Turbo and second can just explain in Brief why there is a ambient correction as i picked up int he Graphs some between 22 and 25 % and other 27 and 28%

If he is running 1.4bar peak he should be seeing over 700nm so I don't buy that.

Let me give you guys some back ground on the car.
A Dealer in Cape Town phoned me and said they are busy trading a 135 and if I will be interested. I trust the salesman and asked him about the car as he is my eyes and ears for now(I am based in JHB)
He said the car feels very very strong and is in good nick. They tested it against a 1M:thumbs:
I then bought the car without even seeing or driving the car.
He delivered the car to my doorstep. It was the first time I have ever driven a 135 and that was my own car.
Next step was to take it to the dyno(with only 95 in the tank) to see what is the BASE LINE figure from where I will build on. After the run and Boetie knowing his own dyno he informed me that the car definitely must have software on. So that was some bonus news for me:=):
The car is going back to Boetie, he will read the software and tell me what is going on Boost etc etc. I will inform you guys as soon as I have the info.
We (135_SVL and myself) acquired some 265/35/18 semi slicks so will be testing traction soon. The rear road going run flats are being torn to pieces. The Torque is definitely talking:rollsmile:
