does the 125///M bumper from the coupe fit on the 5 door hatch?

i want that bumper on my baby so bad:bangdesk:!!!

I wouldn't see why it wouldn't fit. If I'm not mistaken the 1 series hatch and the 1 series coupe are identical from the A pillar forwards.

Yes the coupe bumper will fit perfectly. I've done it (See pic in my signature)

BUT, you will have to replace the under carriage cover (Item 1 or 2 in diagram) and the piece (Item 11 or 12) that joins the under carriage with the bumper: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=UC72&mospid=50607&btnr=51_6995&hg=51&fg=75

i have a cost for the bumper it self but those covers will be an addition??

this is the vision i have okes...

just in silver..


the skirts will more than likely stay std but wheels and bumpers will be rocked HARD:thumbs:

Justin, I did mine 14 months ago. Cant remember the price for the under carriage parts, will look in my repair file tonight to confirm the price. It will be a lot more now though.
Try a few BMW second hand places for one.

You will also need new kidney grilles. Its a different shape in the outta top corners

You can use the same fogs. If the new bumper didn’t come with the fog light vent bracket you will also need to get one.

that's a great price for the bumper hey...

i was quoted 3500 bucks just for the bumper hey

i dont even think it was including the mesh grills, or the under carriage stuff

where did you find it?

Mine had only the middle mesh grille. Had to buy the side mesh grilles new for the fog lights from BMW and the kidneys got from Rennzport. They on this forum

Got the bumper from "Bruce BMW Spares" here in Cape Town

Yes, I did. These pics below are the same car. The car was in a nasty accident, had a colour change.
The only things that are different before and after the accident is the front bumper, colour change and removed the Lamin-x off the taillights.
