BuildaBeemer: Stripping a 2001 BMW E46 330i

Hi All!

My father and I are busy building my ex-daily driver BMW E46 330i into a track car to compete in the 2020 BMW Car Club Racing Series.

The details regarding the build of the track car will be contained in a different thread - Here

This thread will be dedicated to offering the parts that are made available during the "stripping" process.

Parts will be compatible with most BMW E46 sedans, with a few components potentially being exclusive to the 330i variant.

Feel free to make a request for any part that has not been posted yet that would obviously be removed during a track car conversion project.

So first up is the entire air conditioning system.

Compressor: R1500

Evaporator: R300

Receiver/drier: R300

Hose package: R500

Heater valve: R250

Heater core: R300

Condenser: R300

Blower: R400

Fan resistor: R350

Control panel: R350

Or take the complete system for R3000.

Unfortunately not. We are retaining the stock air intake system for now.

Full set of airbags, seatbelts, etc from BMW E46, all in excellent condition:

Passenger front airbag: R950

Front side airbags (driver & passenger): R750 each

Curtain airbags (left & right): R950 each

Airbag control unit: R500

Side impact sensors (left & right), R250 each

Seatbelt tensioners (driver & passenger): R600 each

Front seatbelts (driver & passenger): R400 each

Rear seatbelts (left, right, centre, with clasps, R650 for the set.

Or take everything for R5500

Front carpet from 330i, black, very good condition. No footwell wear as the car has always been fitted with overlay mats.
