Exactly the same reason I also enjoyed this episode

Seeing the subframe crack there made my hair stand up, its really not a nice thing to find on your E46. Also looking for a welder to weld the re-enforcement plates in for me, unless I have to look into what this epoxy method is, but not sure about it.
