Hi guys

So I bought a 318i Motorsport from Jitesh from the forum last year November. Decided to introduce her and what I have done to her thus far. She's a 95 Motorsport in British Racing Green with black interior and 17X XXX kms.

As I got her..... Jitesh kept her in great original condition. Thanks bud.

A few small issues sorted. A new Bosch starter installed (R3k) aircon service (R850) front control arm bushes and then onto some aesthetics: clear lights. These are reps but don't look too fake. Up close you can see the rears are not oem but I can live with that. Also at a total cost of R1300 for all lights(thanks Pre325), one can't really complain. Then installation of M3 splitters(R450). Splitters and lights were from Max Motorsport in Durbs.

As one would expect, the interior and steering did age a bit. Lucky no tears so off to Colorglo for redye of front seats and steering wheel. Quiet happy with the end result. Well worth the R1500 cost.

After

Next up was a glazing:)

Then installed Osram Xenon effect bulbs(R250). Can't really capture the effect in a pic. Huge improvement in lighting with a very slight blue undertone.

Next on the cards is an audio upgrade and an irritating rattle noise between idle and 1500 rpm that I need to eliminate. Checked throttle body which is fine so will continue searching. All in all a great car thats pretty able with great fuel consumption all looks.

Thanks for reading. :)

Very impressed with the re-dye too :bravo:

With regards to the rattle you are experiencing, have you checked the timing chain tensioner yet?

Thx for sharing her with us

Looking good buddy, what's your consumption like?

Thanks man. Have no idea on exact figures much more frugal than the 325i I had.
