okay you guys are lucky.

when my brother stayed in somerset west we would take the bikes out along the coast, past gordans bay out towards bettys bay.

on that road there was a pull off area with a braai area(dont know if it still there back in 89)use to braai then carry on with the run.
problem with that bikes are small so parking not a problem.

just check with bettys bay council if you can braai,i dont think you can though

I know there is a braai spot on that road, but cant remember where exactly. Its either before or after Betty's Bay. Drove past it in December.

There is a braai spot in Kleinmond and a few restaurants.

The Whaling Station Restaurant in Bettys' bay might be an option?? The link below is to their website which also lists their menu. They also state that booking is essential.

the whole of CT only wakes up at about 10 on a sunday anyways, however, being the first sunday after the "fast", there might be some traffic. ..oooh those bends are nice with an empty road !

There are lots of braai spots along that route. Going up Clarence drive on the left past the notorious "garage" bend there is one. Cool bay has a couple, mermaids pool has some, there is also the Drummond Arms in Rooi els and Pebbles restaurant in Betties Bay. Aviod Gringos in Kleinmond ;-) but there is a nice spot down by the harbour. Enjoy!!

I saw this restaurant yesterday when searching for places on Google. Its the only one in Betty's Bay. I think we should either eat here or at Europa in Klienmond.

The problem with group booking is that we dont know how many of us will be coming, until we see whose at McD's at 10
