What an awesome day!! And very well organised - many thanks to all involved!!

Nice to have met those who I did - always good to be able to put a face with a name (screen name).

I took a few shots mainly at the One Stop on the N2, so will edit and upload tomorrow hopefully! Thanks for the pics posted above! Awesome collection of wonderful cars!!

My Wife also thoroughly enjoyed the drive/outing with her car - silly to go with two cars? Not at all!! Was great! Our neighbour came along to keep my Wife company and she also very much enjoyed the outing! The run along Gordon's Bay was loads of fun, even with the moderate rain!

Had a nice meal at the basket and then before returning to town we went around the coast to De Kelders/Gansbaai. Drive back was through Hermanus again and then over the pass and then down Sir Lowry's Pass. Since I was alone in my car, gave her a nice work-out going up the Houw Hoek Pass on the twisty's - very sure-footed!

Consumption, by the time I got back to Durbanville, it was sitting on 8.1 l/100 km which as far as I am concerned is damn good for this car and for the way I was driving on certain parts of the return trip. Was sitting on 7.9 l/100 km when we stopped at the One Stop... My Wife's 320i is sitting on 8.4 l/100 km, but she caught some traffic after stopping at a farm-stall on the way back - woman! LOL

Once again, many thanks for organising this, and many thanks to all who were able to attend!!

@Philip - Saw you and your wife as we were leaving McD's and drove behind you guys until the Engen. Your wifes car is in great condition and that engine seems very healthy, that DIY is paying off :)

Wanted to meet up along the run and test the different generation 330's but there is always next time  Your car is looking great though!

Salie...your 335 looked:thumbs: still want to get my hands on it though...some tricks of the trade to share.

The only thing about the run i did not like was having to wait 1hour 30min for food at Ocean Basket...:nonono: :thumbdo:

How would you guys feel about a massive parkoff...with music, food stalls etc...for the next meet. So instead of driving somewhere, we decide on a venue and we park off and really show our cars to the public...what you think?

Thanks Charles, it would be great to learn those tricks:thumbs:. The Park-off sounds brilliant!

Great day!! The organisers did a great great job and how the whole day came off is a testiment to thier organising and the great bunch of people involved.

I took a scenic route home via N1-across to Villiersdorp-Francshoek Pass-Franchoek-N1. The hills were reverberating to the sound of straight6;)

I will post some pics later.

Thanks again guys and girls.

Will have the rest of the photos up as i edit them. I know this is alot of pre-run pics but i wanted to get a shot of everyones car. If i missed yours i apologise. And sorry for the greenish tint in some photos. Thats not shoody editing work, my camera was on the wrong setting and it takes too long to try and correct the colour levels.
