Washed the M5 today, not planning on having too many milkshakes tonight, and the weather looks promising for tomorrow, so looks like I'll be there. Yay!!!

i just have the bestest luck :( picked up a ding last night when some idiot reversed into my door :argh: so now ive got a little prang and its pissing me off... y do things like this happen before events? :bangdesk:

My 540 is in pieces waiting the arrival of the clutch kit. I'll be taking my E30 318i which was hit by a biker a few months ago. So you can just park next to me and no one will even notice your little ding :) :thumb:

Washed both the 540i and the 528i and I still can't make up my mind, what I must bring for the ride....

Options..... Options.....

As far as I can tell there are no "options"... just the 540i :) :)

I did quite a bit of DIY on the 318i today and in between was dragged to the mall for like 4 hours. Anyway, see you guys tomorrow. I'll probably be a little early to avoid the rush hour traffic of BMW's at N1 city :) :)

Last minute issues mean i won't be there :bawling:

Don't worry if there is something wrong with the 328i... I'm sure we can fix on the spot. I even have a toolbox in the boot :thumb:

I can't get the CLK for tomorrow :( my old man is using it. I'm stuck with the S500 guzzler, its heavier than the E92 M3. Its avg today was 36,2l/100km with avg speed of 41km/h (town driving).

I'm gonna leave it at McD's. The convoy will be lead by Twinz in his X3

Philip: You in one and the wife in the other?

My son is joining too, but we will like to enjoy the whole experience together.

My 528i I feel safe to take on a long trip alone.

The 540i is more like doing a run with maybe 45 other BMW owners being there to help if something goes wrong... or witness.

Safe (maybe a bit boring) 528i
Taking a chance and absolutely brilliant machine 540i

Verdict still out...

Both cars are covered in fine mist rain, falling currently in Paarl.

Did not sleep much, my first run and it is like the day before a big match...

Will decide this morning if if it should be the Blue Beast (540i) or the Silver Sliver (528i)

Now to get everyone ready.

Thanks to all of you that came. Pity we had to find other parking. We had a nice turnout, 46 cars.
