I gather the rears are 275/35R18Y? On tyretraders the Nankang NS2 are around R1640 each, not the greatest tyres though. Then the Yokohama V103 ADVAN Sport are about R5600 each - probably available at a better price at TWT though...

I am really going to try and make this one, as my last one was the Hermanus run last year. Need two back tyres though, I blew up the one last night!

@Jeff - Sorry pal, need my clutch....but if you have rear tyres.....

Hmm, just took a look at one of the pics from Killarney with your car in the shot, was it the right rear that went? From what I could see in the pic the inner tread and shoulder was a bit on the thin side, especially compared to the left rear??

Sounds awesome guys!

If I have taken delivery of my car by then I will definitely join in. The factory seems to be on a rolling deadline. Have had three delivery dates already. Holding thumbs.

Could it be an F30

Yes I am waiting for my F30 335i to arrive. Driving it back from JHB. Opportunity to run in the motor and do a nice road trip at the same time :)

Phoned the museum now. They dont have the E30 325iS anymore. They only got 2 models, the OLD 328 classic and 508. And also the McLaren (with BMW engine)

Both BMW's will be on display for us. At the moment its only the 328 on display.

Cant wait for this event.

Yip, that's the one, but have obviously had both replaced.

+1!

And this is why I am now on the mission to replace tyres on my car, fronts especially since they are unevenly worn and one is older than the other in terms of age and tread wear. Cannot understand people replacing one tyre on the same axle - or only if the tyres were practically new at the time, but not with almost 50% tread wear! :nonono:

Now I'm stuck... This will be the last run that I can attend since I'll be leaving CT. This is also the last weekend in CT which means I'll either have to spend it with the inlaws or with my parents... But I also need to go on the run...
