The bmw club committee will consider how wide to cast the invite in a day or two with regards to other formal clubs. 100 emails to club members have already been sent. Watch the club & fanatics facebook accounts as well.:thumbs:

I have friends and family out in Betties Bay and Kleinmond, so head out there regularly. Cape Point I havent done in a while and sounds great!

I do Hermanus almost every 2 weeks, but seldom the 'scenic' route, so I'm all for the Bettysbay one.

Never been to Betties Bay so what better time than rolling in with a whole group of Fanatics... I'm just saying...

I do the Gordons Bay-> Bettys Bay -> Hermanus twice a month so...ill definately advise we do it again! :joy: By the way, the record time from Gordons Bay till Rooi Els bridge is 13 minutes...:fencelook:

As u turn onto the road from bikini beach. But thats in mid day, on a sunday, with traffic. We can try and better that thenv:tease:

I'm just pulling your leg Chris. We all have some nice benchmarks all over the country :) I just decided to call it a day and focus on better fuel consumption rather than better time consumption :) 13min is pretty decent.

As far as times go .. I have done a 40min trip from Hermanus to Claremont main road .. that was 10 years ago in a Sapphire 3.3 :rollsmile:

We gonna start a new thread now for the breakfast run, it will be under the western cape section.



My records are:

Tokia (onramp on M3) to Town (waterfront robot on N1): 4mins (in a Corsa) (early hours of the morning)
Town (waterfront robot on N1) to Melkbos (farmstall garage): 9mins (Corsa) (early hours of the morning)
Langebaan (Engen 1 stop) to Melkbos (farmstall garage): 24mins (BMW 130i) (a Sunday afternoon)
Knysna to McD’s (N1 City): 3 hours (BMW 130i) (had to be there at 7am for breakfast run)
