I want to organize events like carting, paintball and maybe even try get some track time, but i cant do that when people say they coming and just dont pitch...

Don't come with crap blaming Durban guys. If you bothered to follow the thread ,after Moranor said drifting was cancelled ONE person confirmed to attend anyway and decide what to do, ideas were just thrown around.
Nothing was set in stone like the drifting event. Seems like all guys made other plans after being notified of the cancellation hence no new confirmed attendance list etc.
Moranor I do apologise for you waiting there that long but it doesn't seem like anyone confirmed the new plan.
Lets just plan a new event and co-ordinate properly, make a date with decent advanced notice and start notifying as many as possible from now.
People need to realise Durban has a much smaller following compared to Jhb and Cpt wrt to members on this forum hence our usually small gatherings. No need to jump and label us for that reason.
So lets be productive and carefully plan a new run.

we should try find a place with better carts i know a good place in pmb where you can book the track for a few hours... it works out way cheaper and they can have larger groups on the track at a time...
there must be a place like this closer to dbn because alot of offices do team building exercises with events like this...

The thing is after you said to meet at 9 at engen, as was the original plan, no one came forth to say they were attending either now that drifting was cancelled?
And I am by no means implying it was your fault, not at all.
If anything big ups to you for making so much effort in planning and joining durban runs all the way from pmb and it is unfortunate the way things played out.
I just said it doesn't seem like the new plan was supported and confirmed by anyone. Thats it.
