i think rather send it to netercol seems the turbo wont work for what i want it for because of the VNT... if it will work i can get it from netercol at a later stage

Moranor, Kisch2604 enquired about the core but as it has a broken impeller i assume he won't be interested any more. The turbo is in parts now but i am willing to give it away as i have no more use for it as i have fitted a new turbo on my car.
Kisch2604, if you read this, you have first option, but if i do not hear from you, then you can have it Moranor.
I took it apart as carefully as i could but had to bash the exhaust casing quite a lot with a hammer to get it apart, but should fit without sealing problems.
I am based in Hermanus, near Cape Town.

IIRC, the turbine+shaft is about R1500 from turbodirect, but they did not have stock last I checked, so you will probably have to order and wait. compressor wheel is ~R1000 and the bearing kit also ~R1000, so for less than R4k you can make that turbo good as new.

Netercol, as you can see from my post Kisch had first option on the turbo. I have arranged for him to have it collected. He promised that he will contact you regarding his old turbo and you can negotiate about the housing you need off his turbo. Sorry Buddy if i have disappointed you!

Kisch, i am back from my 2500km trip with the new turbo. Went very well and got about 13km/l first fillup, just under 15km/l with the second fillup and have done about 470km on about 30l (have yet to fill her up) which works out to about 15,5km/l from Kbley to Hermanus (filled up in Beaufort West). Am very happy with the performance. This car is very nice to drive - sit back and push the go-pedal when you want to pass a vehicle and whoosh, you're gone!
We must arrange to get the turbo to you!
