Hi guys

I have a E90 330d Motorsport.

Replaced rear brake disc and pads and sensor.

Is there a manual way to reset the lights on the dash.

Google have a few but non of them are working.

Help will be appriciated

Did you put in new brake sensors?

Ok just saw you did.

1 turn car on without starting
2 press and hold the trip reset button at the odometer, it will show a triangle and then go into the service reset
3 Use the toggle of the indicator stork to select the rear brake reset
4 Press and hold to reset the rear brake service light.
5 switch car off and the light should go out

I hope i go these steps right, doing it from memory. But there must be a post on the forum.

I get to the Triangle but as soon as I use toggle and reset it just stays red it doesn't reset

I hold like 7-8 sec

If you want PM me your cell number i can take you through the steps on a video call later this evening

If it doesn't work then you may need to take a look at the sensor connection

Ok.

Thanks for help guys I think I found the problem.

I ask the guy who did the breaks for the old sensor and his responds was he did not change the sensor as old one was still fine.

So I will remove wheel tonight and change sensor and sure it will reset then.

Thanks again

Figured it was the sensor. You shouldnt have any issues after the sensor is changed

I had the exact same problem and Danny assisted me to resolve. Sensor was damaged but looked fine
